AbstractThe concept of «self-diagnosis» is seen as a means of inclusion of students in research and educational activity, and as one of the conditions of formation their information and mathematical competence. Describes practical training conducted with students-psychologists for the course «Mathematical methods in psychology» using self-diagnosis. The author comes to the conclusion about the necessity to conduct employment with students in the context of their future professional activity and wide practical application of modern computer software.Keywords: interactive training, mathematical competence, mathematical training of students, research, self-knowledge, self-test, statistical data analysis, structural equation modeling.
