Abstract
The article examines the model of categorical structure of professional consciousness of the teacher. Functional structure and components of professional consciousness stress psycho-social nature of the phenomenon, because on the one hand, based on the starting position of psychology of the unity of consciousness and activity, on the other - professional consciousness fully meet the essential social systems ethical, moral and legal norms.
