Abstract
Development of tolerant oriented education is caused by growth of social complexity, escalation of national and religious tensions. Educational system gives an opportunity to form the attitude of respect and tolerance toward different religions. The article emphasizes that tolerance in class starts with the teacher. The atmosphere of acceptance, dialogue and cooperation has a potential to be further expressed in social trust and cohesion.
