Abstract
Article is devoted to category of happiness as to object of studying of sociology. In the text of article it is shown, how big contribution of science of sociology in studying of this concept. Also, degree of study of category of happiness is briefly consecrated by foreign and domestic sociologists. Features of sociological methodology are presented.
