Abstract
The paper deals with the problem of multimedia technologies implementation into educational process of a higher education. Insufficient influence of information technologies, on the whole, and the multimedia ones, in particular, on the educational process is noted. The possible ways of optimization of multimedia technologies implementation into educational process on the basis of the information system of a higher education institute is investigated.
