Abstract
Inclusion in the group is an internal need of a young man , so there is an active search for teen group - as a model for comparison and as a source of social norms. In psychological terms included in the group associated with a constant reappraisal of values , which is done in the process of communication with the immediate social environment . The article listed the reasons that teens together in informal youth organizations, as well as their psychological characteristics contributing to this association. Also in the article are the distinctive features of the hippie subculture , both external ( attributes ) and internal (principles , rules and conditions for self-realization ) .
