Abstract
The article investigates the role of the university in the modern world, the concept serves domestic and foreign scholars concerning the mission and objectives of the University as a social institution, is focused on the creation of the University of the Elite Man, considered the mission of universities according to their branch orientation, analyzes the paradigm of their functions.
