Abstract
In the article keeping the bounds of the, is considering as not only scientific approach to the definition essence of notion educational area and educational habitat existent in native pedagogical science, but as analysis significant differences in their position. There is description of two main concept educational habitats: molecular and factor. Within learnt approach is considered possibilities and ways of modeling ethno – cultural area educational establishment as an education habitat with the aim of forming positive ethnic identification among schoolchildren.
