Abstract
In article competences of bachelors and masters of design (according to the project of the Federal State Standard 3+) are related with the stages of the project activity; the need for precise level matching competencies bachelors and masters of design and more widespread understanding of the project activity than proposed in the last projects of the Federal State Standard for designers are justified in theory.
