Abstract
The article reveals the origins of the development of philosophical and pedagogical ideas of harmony of mental and physical work in the national pedagogy of the late nineteenth century, particularly in the pedagogical heritage of K. D. Ushinsky. Analyses its relationship with the conceptual ideas that underlie the study of the development of the idea of harmony of mental and physical work of a student in the national pedagogy of the late nineteenth century: prirodoohrannoi, humanization, anthropology, harmonization.
