Abstract
This article deals with the main objective and the basic principles of the method of "Forum - theater". It shows the development of the "Theater of the Oppressed" since the 80s. Also, the idea of this method compared with the fundamental provisions of Freud on dreams. Disclosed aesthetics of theatrical space, which are well suited for therapeutic purposes. We analyzed the problem of actors and how they work. It is shown that the purpose of a certain distance between the actor and the role and methods of its use in therapy. Compared systemic and psychodynamic approaches and describes the method of Boal in terms of systemic therapy.
