Abstract
The paper analyzes data of sociological research the reproductive potential of the Vologda region, since 2005 held ISEDT RAS. We consider the self-esteem of the population of reproductive health trends, motives and factors of abortion and contraceptive behavior, designated areas of work for the prevention of abortion choice.
