Abstract
The article examines world image of combat ready unit servicemen and servicemen attached to a university by interpreting semantic universals of concepts “work”, “professional”, “profession”. Understanding ways of man mental processing of information facilitates prediction and correction of his behavior. Results of the research can be useful for military psychologists.
