Abstract
This article analyzes the phenomenon of Olympism. Under the influence of the time there was a change and rethinking the basic ideals and values of Olympism. The author of the research process are identified and systematized the main features of the ancient, kubertenovskogo, postkubertenovskogo Olympism. The change of ideals and values under the influence of time. The results obtained in the course of the study are used and put into practice the discipline "Olympic education".
