Abstract
This article presents the results of empirical research of motivational-value features of self-actualization of the person of students of different professional orientation. As a result of the analysis the author concludes that the humanitarian focus of the students have a higher potential to create a harmonious interpersonal relations, strive for a diverse and interesting life, tend to choose work, guided by the abilities and interests. Students in technical faculties, largely motivated for career growth and success in life, and are less concerned with the preservation of a favorable emotional relationships in the team.
