Abstract
In the article the concept of «the intrapersonal gender conflict» role-playing aspect of this phenomenon, gender differences role of intrapersonal conflicts are considered. Special attention is given to various theories (the role theory, the theory of gender socialization, the androgyny theory, the gender schema theory) explaining the reasons and ways to overcome these conflicts, the role of gender stereotypes.
