Abstract
The paper deals with the main aspects of management of students’ independent work in higher military schools. This article contains basic characteristics and forms of independent work, the factors that determine the effectiveness of the leadership of listeners’ (cadets’) independent work. It is concluded that the training activities contribute to skills of independent work, interest in cognitive activity, ability to take constructive decisions. In this regard, the importance of properly motivated and organized independent work of students in higher military school is emphasized.
