Abstract
In this article we tried to research the words of the English language, which appeared in the course of historical events. These words are not translated literally, they are referred to phraseological units, and as we know phraseology is the most significant stylistic layer. Studying the language, you can not do without the distinctive part of the vocabulary created by the people, the history and culture of the people.
