Abstract
The problem of extremism, analyzed the results of monitoring the level of extremism and xenophobia among young people. The focus is on the possibility of interaction between the state and public institutions in the prevention of extremism, build educational environment based on tolerance and respect for the culture and traditions of the peoples of Russia.
