Abstract
The article is devoted to the analysis of use of situational exercises at introduction and activization of foreign-language lexicon. It is noted that situational conditionality of situation is means of motivation and stimulation of educational activity of students. The sense of situational exercises consists in developing of stable relation between the foreign-language word and components of situation defining its use.
