THE ROLE OF ETHNIC IDENTITY AND SELF-IDENTIFICATION OF PEOPLE’S EDUCATIONAL VIEWS OF EUROPE AND RUSSIA

Abstract
The theme of this paper is historical - pedagogical analysis of the role of ethnic identity and self-identification of people's educational views of Europe and Russia from ancient times to the present. The article examines the stages of development etnopedagogichekogo knowledge in terms of the role and place of ethnic identity and self-identification in the education of the younger generation on the following criteria: ethnic or national community; the ideal of education; the purpose of education, the identification process; the process of self-identification. Identification of patterns between the processes of ethnic identification (ethnic identity) and educational goals and ideals will help to effectively organize the pedagogical process of formation in children a positive ethnic identity as a way of "entering" the child in the culture of its people, so his socialization. In this regard, the question becomes particularly relevant application of the results of analysis in ethnopedagogics.
