The article deals with the problem of creating a self-portrait and self-portrait self itself through the social networks. The conclusion is that the photo self-portrait is a reflection of the external appearance of the here and now, and can serve as a basis for visual communication and stratification. In this sex-age aspects may influence the ways of self-presentation in the Internet space. The analysis of the phenomenon of "selfie", which is a way to express interenet presentation space, displaying human eyes at myself (I am the eyes of others). The analysis of 400 pages in various social networks, 183 women and 217 men ages 18 to 55 years. There were significant differences in self-presentation of men and women, as well as the dependence of the quantity and quality of the photos on the age. Our findings correspond with the results of our previous studies, as well as the general trend to study the characteristics of self-appearance, assess their own attractiveness in the female sample. However, for a better understanding of this phenomenon, it is necessary to examine not only the features of self-presentation, but also the personal characteristics of study participants, their motives of self, narcissism, and especially the self and self-image.
