Abstract
The desire to read people and the learning features of each person always have been live issue still our days. Many scientists-psychologists, philosophers, such as Plato, Potemkina O. F., Rubenstein S. L., etc. have invested bases in this subject. The purpose of this scientific research is application of the theories in practice, considering literary works’ characters of English and Russian literature. The interdisciplinary communication of psychology and literature is demonstrated in the article, affecting such concept as the personality. Studying of the personality is a demanded problem of all times. The main characters of short stories are presented in article as different types of an individual. The review and comparison of types of persons on the basis of literary works is result of this work.
