Abstract
The subject of scientific research in the work is the analysis of the place and role of humanitarian education in the modern postindustrial, information society, the growing importance and importance for the construction of a new society that will meet the goals of the national development of our country.
In this connection, special attention is focused on the most important components of the nature of humanitarian knowledge and knowledge, its features and differences from natural and engineering knowledge.
Since humanitarian cognition assumes a special type of hermeneutics, this implies the posing of the question of considering its substantial difference in educational technologies, the difference in the methods of learning from other types of knowledge and education.
In the work attention is paid to such learning factors born in the post-industrial era as information technologies based on the wide use of computer technology.
The study analyzes the interaction of computer technologies with the characteristics of the humanities educational process. The work shows a serious danger, the thoughtless and uncritical use of such technologies in the educational process.
The paper examines a serious problem that distorts the humanitarian nature of education-the contradiction between the goals of humanitarian education and the total pragmatism of a modern market society in which the main and decisive is the realization of such social needs that can only be expressed in terms of market prices, which is in deep contradiction With culture and its implicit carrier - humanitarian knowledge and education.
