Abstract
The article describes the possibilities of determination by future teachers in physical culture of the category "self-development", the possibilities of forming the foundations of professional and pedagogical activity in the structure of visualization of the foundations of self-development of personality as a construct and product of the formation of personality in the model of continuing education are described. The integrity of the formation of the theory and practice of self-development of the individual is determined by the conditions of productive search and personified development of the personality.
